Noanet is at the center of these woodlands, such as a spine of the living body.
In the early 19th century, the brook was dammed into the chain of ponds,
helping humans rotate the waterwheel of the iron mill.
The whole venture had stopped soon enough and
Noanet came through, flashing away almost all the remnants
except for the ponds, which have enriched ecology of the place.
