Brewster's Woods, Concord, Massachusetts
Cool and windy, bundled-up.
Chirps and flirts delight, as the waking songs amidst the browns.
And then there is this water, lots of water,
in the ponds,
with young lilies coming through,
and Canadiens enjoying splashing it around.
A single swan at peace...

... and Life Goes On...
Fresh Pond, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Peaceful morning on closed golf course...
Canada Geese with their young in slow motion... feels like the safest place,
so distant from COVID-19...
... nature in her own unspoiled rhythm...

Nature does not take sides
Fresh Pond, Cambridge, Massachusetts
I hear the cracks on partially frozen pond... and all those melting glaciers...
... polar bears are losing their only home
while
geese enjoy this piece of melted world...
Nature does not take sides...

Feels Like Spring
Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Plum Island, Massachusetts
... on this warm winter day...
... on this warm winter day...
How indispensable our one or two flocks of geese in spring and autumn! What would be a spring in which that sound was not heard? Coming to unlock the fetters of northern rivers. Those annual steamers of the air.
