Ward Reservation, Andover, Massachusetts
First green leaves,
amidst browns,
where muddy prevails.
There!
I see a bluebird on a branch.
Seems the time is right
to bring the colors with the wings into the woods...

Piles of pine cone scales
on the snow covered rocks of stone walls.
So many ?
Too many for a single squirrel.
Feels like a banquet...
Warmth and smiles on these winter paths.
Where are they?

Walking woods on a hot day without looking for anything.
And then it happens.
Ospreys flying around their nest,
and the two of us,
watching...
Nature always has her ways
with the unexpected

Mingling through the woods. Dancing with the shadows in light breeze.
Grasses are taller, do not allow cross-walks any more.
And the rocks would not mind.
Ready, as usual, for my boots.
Arriving to the beaver's pond, an artwork of a primeval engineer.
Where all is worked-out without touching anything.
Or so IT feels.
Some trees were sacrificed. All the rest came by nature. Bringing water to those who need IT.
Yet meant for a beaver...
