Bustling Summer

Great Brook Farm State Park, Massachusetts

Through the corridor of wildflowers between the cornfields.
 Colorful, buzzing amalgam of energy,
   transcends physical bounds...

 Who is the ONE ?

 A bee or a petal ? A butterfly or a flower ?
A hummingbird in the moment of repose,

or this cloud, high-up in in the blue ?

Great Brook Farm: ... between the cornfields...

Great Brook Farm: ... through the corridor of wildflowers...

Great Brook Farm: ... colorful...

Great Brook Farm: ... buzzing...

Great Brook Farm: ... amalgam of energy...

Great Brook Farm: ... transcends physical bounds...

Great Brook Farm: ... who is the one...

Great Brook Farm: ... in these crowds ?...

Great Brook Farm: ... a butterfly or a flower ?...

Great Brook Farm: ... where the dynamics of living...

Great Brook Farm: ... subsumes...

Great Brook Farm: ... sustains...

Great Brook Farm: ... enriches...

Great Brook Farm: ... the point of repose...

Great Brook Farm: ... aspiring for the heights...

Great Brook Farm: ... of the clouds...

And Finally...

Lone Tree Hill, Belmont, Massachusetts

A butterfly, flapping, from flower to flower...

Here I am, resolute to stand still and wait,
in the hope that she will find a nous for repose so I can enjoy her wings.

But she never does, just flutters away,

     in tune with summer meadows...

Lone Tree Hill: ... and finally...

Lone Tree Hill: ... a butterfly...

Lone Tree Hill: ... these thin, long legs won't hurt...

Lone Tree Hill: ... will you find a nous for repose so I can enjoy your wings ?...

Lone Tree Hill: ... just flutters away...

Lone Tree Hill: ... in tune with...

Lone Tree Hill: ... summer meadows...

Painted

Coolidge Reservation, Massachusetts

Watching butterflies makes me wonder how and why they look the way they look ?
Is it existential or purely to enchant ? To enchant Whom ?

And how this helps them to survive ?

  I do not know,
but feel that BEAUTY is systemic to nature and the genes just learn to express IT...

Coolidge Reservation: ... makes me wonder...

Coolidge Reservation: ... is it to enchant ? and whom ?...

Coolidge Reservation: ... beauty is systemic to nature...
