Flock of Sheep

Grand Manan, Bay of Fundy, Canada

On the trail to Flock of Sheep... a group of whitish boulders tumbled onto the island by glaciers.
    Fishermen named them Flock of Sheep because they looked like sheep from the Ocean...
... The last glacier disappeared from this area about 14,500 years ago. That means Flock of Sheep are barely lambs on the Geological Time Scale, considering that the oldest rocks exposed on the island are around 618 million years old... [Chuck Letourneau]
