but Swallows disperse energy all over the meadow, picking and choosing their summer houses.
And I can't pass, but stop and watch...

Special to be at this place and feel the ocean tides,
the celestial potency and the rhythmic motions of the outer world.
Today is HIGH, HIGH tide,
because the Sun and the Moon are aligned and they push and pull together.
ALL in water,
so much so that there will be no access to the beach for a few hours.
And I am here,
amidst this overflow, with the Sun and the Moon keeping me from leaving...

A day when the Sun meets the Moon.
When only the minutes of time bring a sense of where I am and have always been,
and why is the Sun a principal part of my being.
This is just a partial eclipse, 93% of the Sun is occluded.
Enough for the light to pass away and for the cold to come in, in the middle of warm daytime.
Never before, have I been face to face with a chance of this life giving power going away.
As if the Sun is trying to teach me a lesson.
I wonder...

Browns dominate,
except for those bouquets of young leaves here and there, quite close to my hands.
Birds are the first to break the silence of winter.
Their tweets convey the spirit of arousal, waiting for the woods to respond.
From branch to branch. Hopping over fallen trees.
