Sitting on the branch with the pine cone,
she does not seem worried by our presence.
They usually dash around,
almost invisibly.
So, this in itself is a very special moment.
I have often asked myself:
why so many pine cones in these woods and so few pine squirrels ?
Plenty of food, yet... something is amiss...
