The island of Asters in bloom.

 With all they bring.

  Affection.  

   Goldfinches. 

    Bouncing among petals. Now I see him, now I don't.

  Along the buzz of bees.

   Happy place... 

Enchanted Pathways

Great Brook Farm State Park, Carlisle, Massachusetts

Back in the woods.

 After the palettes of petals and wings,

  into the playground of lights and shadows.

  

 Sprinkled with mushrooms.

  These humble hats.

    Raise from the soil, 

  pushing through the layers of needles and leaves.

   

 Never mind the rocks, will find the way.

 

    As if the whole place is their's to enjoy.

 

  IS IT ?  

    Makes me smile...

Meadows are in bloom and motion.

 Colors of the petals mingle with the colors of the wings. 

  And the wind sways around.

   Among grasses. 

  

  That bird with a seed does not look to be in a hurry.

  

  While Monarchs flutter. 

      

  From flower to flower...
