North Ridge and South Ridge, Pemetic Mountain, Acadia National Park

ACADIA... poetic splendor... touches my soul so deeply... each time I come HERE...

Pemetic: ... lichens, mosses, conifers... moist... the world of boreal forest...

Pemetic: ... and granite rocks left by glaciers...

Pemetic: ... always in the way...

Pemetic: ... the trees know well...

Pemetic: ... this is the way...

Pemetic: ... now this does not look like a trail... except for the blue marker...

Pemetic: ... who is she?... not a tree...

Pemetic: ... down around my shoes... intrinsically artistic...

Pemetic: ... is this why we admire birds?...

Pemetic: ... and do not see them...

Pemetic: ... waving through...

Pemetic: ... the wonderland...

Pemetic: ... step, stop, step, stop... all around me...

Pemetic: ... and beyond...

Pemetic: ... Jordan Pond... lurking...
